| 1st or 5th age... I can only imagine that for AoL to be the utopia as it is portrayed, a lot of work had to be done in the 1st age in terms of forming government, food distribution, technology advancements. Also, this page has some interesting points. If not first age, then 5th age (or later). Not the fourth age, because then there would still be legends concerning events of then. But practically, I think trying to place ourselves in that world is silly, even hypothetically. You wouldn't ask "If chickens were plants, would they be fruits or vegetables?" |

| I think Wolfbro means what age are WE living in. My bet would be the first age, the age before the AOL. Myths of 'Lem' flying to the moon an a chariot of fire or something appear to be from the age before the age of legends. Granted they could be from several ages before, but I think the longer back you go the less likely it gets |
