Anyone have the Mistborn trilogy on Kindle that I could borrow? Really behind the curve on this, I just finished Kingkiller.

Does 'not lendable' mean that sharing violates Terms of Service? If so don't worry about the emailing. I'm sure I can scrounge up enough to buy my own e-book version

So I finally got around to reading Alloy of Law, and I would like to say it was amazing

For anyone who hasn't read it, its a quick read. I read it in a little over a day. Definitely worth it.

Don't read it unless you've already read Mistborn though! I finished Mistborn almost 4 years ago and I was a little lost at points (due to forgetting some of the events in mistborn)

I tried to log on a few times in the past week, but it took me this long to remember my password :\

Best line in the book: "Youre welcome"

There were many awesome lines in that book. I finally read it during a four hour layover in Houston

I'm currently reading Alloy of Law, and so far I love it! There is something about it that is bothering me though. It is mentioned that the Originators, the people that were saved in the original Mistborn Trilogy, came forward and repopulated the earth. As Wax states, its only been 300 years since the Originators. He also talks about the millions of people in Elendel alone. Just how many people were the Originators? To my recollection, though it has been a couple of years since I read Mistborn, it wasn't THAT many people. No more than a few thousand at most. How did the population get that big in only 300 years? These must have been some pretty resourceful and busy people! Anyone else that was bothered by this?

Who knows?
I'm still freaked about the fact that Sazed somehow managed to save Ironeye's soul, and made him some sort of god-thing.

Yeah, though I like the fact that Marsh shows up at the end, and that there are obviously kandra going around doing Sazed's work. But that bothers me too. BS has said this is supposed to be a stand alone novel. His plan with Mistborn was to have 3 separate stories - one in traditional fantasy past setting (the original Mistborn trilogy), one set in a present day modern world, and one set in a sci-fi futuristic world. He said that AoL was supposed to be an in-between novel. So why did he leave it hanging like that, with the story not finished? Maybe he is going to go back and write a sequel?

i think that he said that is was going to be a jumping off point for the next few books.

short novels getting ready for the "bigger" ones.

Maybe Wax will never catch his father and the organization will stay intact until the modern world book...

Surely you mean uncle, right?

Wait... I thought it was his father too. In fact, I'm pretty sure, cause he tells Wax his sister is alive and well....

He did indeed say that, but I just checked and magirl was right: Waxillium watched the scenery passing outside. “Hello, Uncle,” he said, turning to look at the man in the doorway. Lord Edwarn Ladrian stepped into the room, walking with a whale-ivory cane and wearing fine clothing. “How did you find me?” he asked, sitting down in the other chair.

Ahhh. Well, I be wrong! Uncle or Dad, doesn't matter... I just want to know the rest of the story!
