| "the feeling is there, but the person is not". What it brings to my mind is the Rand/Moridin link (he felt as if he could reach out and touch the man, bla, bla). As for what the "she helps the one she would have killed" part... Other possibility is at first when Alanna bonded Rand, and she still feels like she's behind him or whatever ; and she "helps" him by bonding him, whereas, as a man who can channel, she would mb have killed him had he not been who he was? |

| well. its the right answer. but not the right books. in Cairhien Berilin keeps finding Perrin in the hallways. always making eye contact. and slightly touching him when she can. Perrin remarks to himself its like the way you would teach a horse that your not going it when you first are teaching it. |
