I just saw this awesome article! Apparently Bethesda has added the landmasses of Morrowind, Vvardenfell etc too, though not player accessible. You have to use the toggle clipping console command to see them, which is what I will be doing today :P

What if they introduced an expansion that actually let you travel to Morrowind down that path?

That would be really awesome, and possibly nostalgic for those that played "Morrowind" all those years ago.

Wouldn't it be great if it were the basis for some massive supergame version that included all of Tamriel, possibly even an MMO version? It says there are some differences between the layouts and the originals, but wouldn't there be, since the events of the other games took place ages before Skyrim?

*Imagining an MMO version with all of Tamriel accessable*

I think that would be the day all other games went out of business, and the day the gamers disappeared off the ends of the earth. (Because they no longer left their computers/xboxes for any reason.)

I think that would be awesome! Morrowind was before my time but as someone who played Oblivion and Skyrim religiously, I can honestly say I would LOVE to visit all of Tamriel. If we can't, than I really hope the next game is set in Hammerfell or Summerset Isle.

I feel like having a vast open world running through the deserts of Hammerfell would be AWESOME

Oddly enough, I played Morrowwind, but never actually played Oblivion, well besides my buddy asking me to take over for a min while he went to the bathroom. Saw plenty of Oblivion though. The other ES games were before my time though.

I never played Morrowind (before my time), but I'm sure it was great for its time period as well.

Morrowwind was very cool, even on the original xbox. one of my favorite moments in the game:
You are trodding down a path in the woods, when out of nowhere a guy falls through the trees an splats the ground in front of you. Turns out he was a mage that goofed a teleportation spell, and teleported himself into the sky.

Easter Eggs in Skyrim

5. Fantasy Novels
Bethesda slipped a few cursory nods to some of the books that have likely influenced the Elder Scroll series over the years. From Robert Jordan’s sadly unfinished Wheel of Time series – also about a powerful man fighting dragons – comes “Mount Althor”, so named after the books protagonist, Rand Al’thor.

Ok, so it is official: Elder Scrolls Online is scheduled to be released in 2012! It will be set 1000 years before the events in Skyrim.

*2013

Also my life will disappear when the Elder Scrolls MMO comes out. The only possible thing that could consume my life more would be a WoT MMO (that is well done)

LOL, and yeah, I meant 2013. I have stayed away from MMO's up until now, because I know my addictive nature.. had to force myself to take a break from Skyrim, and haven't went back yet.

Demos, I guess we have no lives or something.. think you and I are the only ones who have posted on here in days!

Haha yeah I've put down Skyrim until the expansions come out.

Also I have deliberately never picked up an MMO because they are so addicting. But I can't resist this
