In regards to steam punk, I think a lot of it began to stem from this film: Also, Jules Verne and H.G. Wells seem to be referenced regularly in steam punk culture. |

| interesting observation there... but it should be pointed out that Americans and Britains refer to God in their national things. America: "indivisible, under God, through liberty..." Britain: "God save the queen" So it's really not that different. |
