| That looks like a neat feature. Maybe there's an App for it for my phone. I don't need to type very often though with Siri. | ||

| I actually sell phones for a living now. I work for a Verizon premium retailer. Mori - "A smartphone is meant to do tons of productive things on, and all on one gadget. Their biggest weakness is that they're not water-proof so no listening on one while swimming allowed." Not exactly true. Check out the Casio Gz One Commando. Smartphone AND waterproof. It's pretty cool! Droid Razor is the best phone on the market right now. I'm getting ready to buy a Samsung Stratosphere myself. Cool phone. |

| All the reviews I've seen of the Casio Gz One Commando say that it's 'Water Resistant' which is far from "Water Proof'. You can spill a drink on it or maybe even run it through the laundry by mistake but you can hardly operate it in a swimming pool for any length of time. We should warn that the phone is only water-resistant as long as you have the open ports plugged up with the accompanying rubber stopper. ![]() |

| Wolfbro- The Razor is exactly like the bionic in operation, its just a little slimmer, has a carbon fiber back, and has scratch / shatter resistant gorilla glass on the front. Other than that, its the same phone basically. | ||

| Forgot to mention... the Droid Razor isn't running Android 4.0, it is running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The only phone on the Verizon market with the new Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. | ||

| Word is that the iPhone 5 will come out soon so maybe I jumped the gun a little getting the 4S. Oh well, AT&T allows for early upgrades for a fee of course. | ||

| Wolfbro, I have a Razr and I've dropped it several times. Its held up like a champ so far. Pretty sure that pic was more than just falling out of a pocket. The screen is gorilla glass, which I have on my tablet too (Which I have been using for almost a year and is still scratch free). Stuff is incredibly strong. | ||

| The Razr is pretty darn tough. Best phone on the market now in my opinion. There is a new Razr coming out though, with a built in extended life battery and I think it's going to be running Android 4.0. Also the Droid 4 is coming out next month. Andoran- the iphone 5 right now is all speculation and rumor. Apple hasn't even confirmed they are making an iphone 5, but I'm sure they will, just don't know when it will be out. I expect soon, cause the 4G phones will kill it if they don't do something quick. but it means they will have to rework their operating system completely, since the 4G service is separate from calling, which is still CDMA based. BEELZEBUBBLE- Never had a smartphone? All I could really tell you about is the Verizon phones, but a good entry level phone would be the Pantech Breakout. It's 4G and a little less expensive, and is very easy to operate. If you like keyboards, then go with the Samsung Stratosphere. OF course the Iphone isn't a bad phone, but Apple is the devil and it will cost you out the wazoo unless you jailbreak it, and even then it is focused only on sharing things with other iphone, ipod, and mac users. I'd go with an Android phone. Not as stable as iphone, but tons more content that wont cost you your soul. No credit card required to use those phones! |

| Thought you guys might be interested in this... there is a company now called Liquipel that is WATERPROOFING cell phones for $60. Its a new nano-coating technology that not only waterproofs the phone, but also ports and everything, and doesn't affect the look or functioning of the phone at all. Check this out: |

| I was the one talking about the iPhone 5. Rumor has it that Steve Jobs was working on the iPhone 5 before he died and didn't really care at all about the 4S being an in-between project. I'm still not really convinced by those water tests but the coating is a good idea if you're around water as much as I am -just in case. The iPhone 4S is fast, has a bizillion apps, and it has great voice recognition software. I don't foresee needing or wanting to switch to another brand anytime soon. |
